Identified across the sciences, the Observer Effect is when the mere act of looking at something changes it. The most famous example is in quantum physics, where an experiment revealed that the greater the amount of "watching", the greater the observer's influence on what actually takes place.
But it can apply to people as well...
This piece is the personification of this phenomenon, exploring an introverted personality through external stimuli. Introverts can feel drained after social interactions and might require time to "recharge", but that's not to say that they aren't outgoing or jovial when they're in environments where they feel comfortable.
